Željko has been dancing since 2003 and has been an active competitor in partner and formation dancing.

Željko achieved 3rd place at the national championship in Latin American dances, 3rd place in the national championship in standard dances, was a World cup semifinalist in Latin American formation dance, 10th place in the world championship in Latin American formation dance in 2016 and 9th place in 2019.
